Approach to Therapy
I believe in treating clients as unique individuals, recognizing that their identity goes beyond the challenges they face. My approach is centered on viewing clients holistically, acknowledging that they are not defined by their problems but by the richness of their experiences and potential for growth. About Me
I grew up in central Maryland, but have since lived around the United States and have had some really amazing experiences. I’ve met some pretty wonderful people who have guided me along the way.
While attending Florida State University, I discovered my passion for mental health advocacy and became enthralled with the idea of becoming a therapist. I attended Auburn University for my marriage and family therapy master’s degree.
Shortly after graduating, I moved to Illinois for my partner’s job, and was able to earn my independent marriage and family therapy license. I now reside in Maryland.
I am an animal lover; I currently have two cats, but I have also had dogs in the past. I enjoy playing video games, listening to music, and spending time outdoors. In addition, I have found a lot of joy in cooking and baking. Whenever I can, I spend time with my amazing friends and family!
Starting therapy can be a pretty scary thing, but I hope I can make that process just a little bit easier. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and welcomed. When you are ready, I’m here to help start that journey with you.
